diggin' the new firefox

I know this isn't the typical site where you'd see this kind of post. But I thought the site's readers might appreciate it. In case you don't know, Internet Explorer isn't the only web browser out there. Firefox, part of the Mozilla project, has been gaining some traction lately. I use it and I'm really diggin' the improved integration with RSS, and the new SAGE RSS extension.

I browse along and any site that I happen to hit that has a news feed (either RSS or Atom) will display the RSS icon in the lower right of the Firefox browser status bar. I can quickly click it and add that link to my RSS/bookmarks folder. It's neat. And if you're not using a news aggregator yet, try it out. I think you'll like it. It's a great way to power surf. I almost never look at websites anymore, I just read stripped down RSS files in Firefox. Gerard Knapp recently told me they'll soon be creating RSS feeds for cyclingnews.com. That'll be the first major cycling news site to jump on the bandwagon. I can't wait. Oh, and get Firefox, it's a great browser, you'll like it.
