Hilarious

vdbVDB in Italian amateur races under false name
"The latest story on Frank Vandenbroucke, once an exceptionally strong talent in Belgian cycling, truly makes one wonder. After the pro peloton waited in vain for his come-back this spring, VDB is now reported to have participated in several amateur races in Italy. Not under his real name, of course, nor in the colours of Unibet.com.

Italian Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday published photos of Vandenbroucke racing in an Italian 28-32 years category race wearing an ordinary blue jersey, and claims that he used a license under the name Francesco Del Ponte showing, moreover, the photo of... Montreal - Quebec

Woohoo Ryan Roth who rode with the team in 2003 and 2004 won this year's (2006) edition of the Louis Garneau Classic Montreal-Quebec. Ryan was riding as a guest for the revamped Jet Fuel Coffee Cycling Team. He rode a great race, attacking with about 16km to go and soloing in for the win more than 2mins ahead of second place Hugh Moran from Toshiba Jetnetwork.

Enough

grrrr All right, enough about Floyd, lets move on with cycling. In the USA, a very cool new race is going on down in Utah. And this weekend in Canada the classic Montreal-Quebec race takes place...

Last year the we did something unique with a live photo feed. This year we have no team, but a bunch of the last year's guys will be there and it will fun to see how they do.
